Garden Spider Close-Up Macro Images
This was a gorgeous garden spider whom I found building her web one day in my back yard. I spent the next couple of hours photographing her while she worked. I stood on a ladder, braced the camera as best I could, and used a 100-mm macro lens with a ring flash. She didn’t seem at all bothered to have me watching her and flashing her every so often as she worked. Sometimes she seemed to pose for me. These were my three best shots. Isn’t she just absolutely beautiful?
