Photographing Rainbows

I routinely carry a camera, just in case I should ever see Elvis and the Loch Ness Monster emerging together from a crashed UFO. So far no luck on Elvis, the monster or the UFO, but I have managed to get some nice rainbow shots from aircraft and cars and in Utah deserts during paleontological expeditions with the Denver Museum of Natural History (now Denver Museum of Nature and Science). Photograph rainbows with a wide aperture and with the focus at infinity.

Go to the Using My Photos page on this site for instructions on how to obtain high-resolution versions of these images from me. I don’t charge money for my photos, but I do require a photo credit in your end-product in exchange for the use of my images. Key words: rainbow images.
